Lavin for H&M
30 seconds that will make you think Alber Elbaz is adorable.
Love this video of him as well, done by T Magazine.
I love that he says his mom talked to his teacher when he was young because she was concerned that he was drawing pictures of ladies and not of things like “tanks,” and that the teacher just said to wait and see where it would go… how wise she was to let him do his thing!

Bar Carts Pt III
As I’ve discussed before, I really love a good bar cart or tray in a home. They just give the feeling that you’re always ready for company and a good time. Here, four examples of really lovely styling mixing the bar elements with art, both propped, for a more ad hoc look, and properly hung, for a more formal effect.

Vanessa Traina’s Living Room
Vanessa Traina, brand ambassador for Chanel, daughter of Danielle Steele, and model for Louis Vuitton.
Love: the simple palette, LV trunk as coffee table, camel velvet sofa, gallery wall.
You can see the rest of the apartment here, although this was by far my favorite pic. The rest is a little overboard for me…

Dear reader…
Dear reader,
You have reached the end of the “freshest” archives that are formatted for this new site layout, so things beyond here get a little less pretty. I hope you don’t mind.
Or, if you care to browse according to specific archive topics, the old posts appear much nicer within their specific categories, like listening to, style files, etc., because of the way those pages are formatted. You can click on the category archives at the top of the page.
Happy browsing!
